Khachar Vitor Ochin Pakhi Reaction & Review
| One genre clicked, other didn't |
'Khachar Vitor Ochin Pakhi' by Raihan Rafi is a survival, political drama webfilm. The story revolves around 2 people inside a closed factory thriving to get out of it in the first half. The story exposes dirty political secrets in second half.
So, I was saying one genre clicked the other didn't. Let's talk about the negative first. The survival genre failed. 'Chhutir Ghonta' is a masterpiece in this genre. The first half focuses on the struggle of survival but most of the time the scenes seem repeatative and is unable to connect the emotion of it. The screenplay in first half is extremely slow. The film shouldn't have been dragged too long.
Now, the positive. The political drama in the last 45 mins is very enjoyable. I personally took it as an imaginary and fictional plot.
Sumon Anowar and Intekhab Dinar offered stellar performances. Fazlur Rahman Babu is always good at what he does. Good to see Tama Mirza trying out interesting roles. The dark and yellowish color tone is appealing and cinematography is decent.
All in all, the first half fails to impress but second half is good.
